Grab your favorite book and join the first ever NCPA Book Exchange! Fiction, non-fiction, and all the other genres are welcome here as you trade with others to find your new favorite read. Even if you forgot your book at home, you can still come and gather suggestions to make that “To Be Read” list even longer.

For those attending the North Carolina Psychiatric Association annual meeting this year, please join us in person on Saturday, September 26 at 7:00 AM. For those unable to attend in person but who would still like to join the business meeting, we will hear from our Marc Amaya Award winners, finalize the NCCCAP officer slate for the upcoming year, and discuss general NCCCAP business. Join us for one of the most anticipated events of the Annual Meeting! The Poster Session Reception offers a unique opportunity to engage with the next generation of psychiatry professionals; current medical students and psychiatry residents from across North Carolina. Explore their research, ask questions, and make meaningful connections in a welcoming, collegial environment. Whether you’re a mentor, peer, or future collaborator, this reception is your chance to be inspired and expand your professional network. Heavy hors d’oeuvres will be served. Drinks are self-pay.

ABPN MOC Peer Feedback Opportunity Breakfast

7:00 AM - 7:55 AM

Breakfast AND business all in one! NCPA will be providing ABPN Peer Feedback Forms during breakfast for diplomates seeking to complete the initial assessment portion of the ABPN Performance in Practice (PIP) Feedback Module. Participants should obtain feedback from at least five peers and are responsible for completing all remaining ABPN requirements independently.
