North Carolina Practice Improvement Collaborative: Stepping Up Summit

Stepping Up is a national initiative to reduce the number of mentally ill in county jails. In North Carolina, at least 37 counties have issued proclamations to join the initiative, and some of these counties will be sharing their experiences and lessons learned at the Summit. National speakers include Fred C. Osher, MD, Director of Health Systems and Services Policy at The Council of State Governments Justice Center, and Leon Evans, President/CEO of The Center for Health Care Services in Bexar County, Texas.
Due to limited seating, only applications to attend are being accepted at this time. Preference will be given to County Commissioners, County Managers, Sheriffs (or designees), court system representatives, and LME/MCOs or treatment provider agencies. Please complete the registration application by April 7. You will be notified about participation by April 18.
