NC Medicaid Issues Waiver Update
As noted in the winter issue of the NCPA print newsletter published this month, the NC public mental health system is moving to a statewide, Medicaid capitated, managed care carveout. NC DHHS (the Departments of Medical Assistance and MHDDSAS) issued a special implementation bulletin #94 late last week that outlines key information for psychiatrists and others in the system.
